About the authors
Angela Thyer, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist living in Seattle, Washington. She is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology, infertility, obstetrics and gynecology, and lifestyle medicine, and her special interests include nutrition, exercise, fertility, lifestyle medicine, healthy aging, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She co-developed the Food for Fertility program with Judy Simon and served as the medical director for both the Food for Fertility program and the Wellness program at SRM. Dr. Angela holds leadership roles in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine Nutritional Special Interest Group and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Reproductive Interest Group. She is also a plant-based chef and is passionate about sharing delicious recipes and cooking techniques with everyone!
Judy Simon, RDN, is a registered dietitian nutritionist who specializes in reproductive health. She is the founder of Mind Body Nutrition, LLC, clinical instructor, and staff dietitian at the University of Washington. Judy has held leadership roles in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine Nutritional Special Interest Group, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Judy’s expertise includes PCOS, fertility, eating disorders, weight inclusive care, culinary medicine, and reproductive health.
